Happy Wednesday everyone! Welcome to another edition of the Brony Newsletter! Hopefully you all are out of school (or almost out) and enjoying that nice summer air. It has been a while since the last time I’ve done a newsletter since I was busy with my studies, but I hope you’ll enjoy this one.

New Members

We only got one new member this week, but one is better than none. Be sure to give a warm welcome to:

We hope you enjoy the group and look forward to seeing you around!

Bad Movie Night

  • Frankenstein's Island
  • 11 pm EST, Saturday
  • Synchtube (password: spitfire)

Round Ups

There are plenty of Round Ups planned for this week so be sure to come out and enjoy the fun!

  • Halo Reach (Xbox 360) - Friday - 7 pm EST
  • Mario Kart 7 (3DS) - Saturday, 7 pm EST
  • Kid Icarus Uprising (3DS) - Saturday (after MK7, before BMN) This is not a 'official' event, but merely an opportunity to play should the group get bored and let out early.

As always, if you own an Xbox 360, but do not own (or don't feel like playing) a copy of Halo: Reach, you can still join or Xbox Live Party chat. I also highly suggest you get Halo 4 in the coming (ok, far away) months as well. Multiplayer for that game is going to be awesome, so don't miss out.

Image War

Mray wants an image war this weekend. I don't know if I'll be up to it after all the Round Up fun, but be sure to temporarily turn off email notifications during the time below. If you wish to join us, PM either me (iDreamrunner or SuperKingC77)

  • 11 pm EST, Friday

Brony Group Blogs

GIO's Flash based homepage has a nasty habit of resetting all the blogs posted on that page and leaving me with a blank, white screen to stare at. As a result, these are the featured blogs whose links were sent to me this week.

  • Stranger
    • In this blog, Stranger recounts his 31 Blogs in 31 Days Challenge experience as well as gives a out shout out to influential GIO Members (of which I am not one TT__TT). Be sure to check out his post: 31/31 Day 31: Exit Stage Right
    • I loved Nintendo's E3 Conference this year (or conferences, rather), but I have to agree with Stranger's next blog that Nintendo did miss a rather big opportunity. Despite the somewhat sensational title, you should give System Critical: How Nintendo Blew Their Chance At E3 a good read.

Original Art

There wasn't a whole lot of art posted this week, but I will concede the notion that they are rather original.

Editor’s Corner

As a small addition to the normal format here's some random stuff I'm posting.

Hey Korra Fans! What to know what happens to Aang and the gang after the defeat of Fire Lord Ozai? Well here you go! As far as I can tell, it's an official comic/manga published through Nickelodeon and Dark Horse Comics. It's action packed, hilarious, and full of that old-school Avatar: TLAB charm. Be sure to purchase a copy of your very own!

This is why I play Tales games

Well that's all I have for today! Have a great week everybody!
