The lights are on
This is the place to hang out with Christians who love gaming. If you are a Christian or an open-minded individual I encourage you to join and stay a while.
Hey, I just wanted to know for those of you out there if there ever was a time where you played a christian game?
For me it was The Bible Game and it was a long time ago. It was kinda cheesy, but the songs were some of my favorite christian songs. In my opinion I think we should have a really good and epic bible game. Starting with the events right after the garden of Eden story....What do you think?
Oh and these are some pictures of the bible game:
Stand bold, Stand strong!
I think that would be a good idea and I believe there was a game based off of Abraham or Moses on the NES. It was side scroller, but I can't say it was exactly Biblical.. Yes, I think there should be a new game based off of the Bible.
Was it like a threefer? Moses and Noah and David or something?
agree with you there pon!
It won't be about reviews, as you know this world, people will ALWAYS attack any religious game....That is why it has to be subtle so that any one could pick it up and it could possibly guide them to GOD.
There's also another game called Guitar Praise. It's like Guitar Hero, but with christian rock bands.
I didn't know about that game... It does sound like a good idea though.
Yeah we should have more games that are like rock band for Christians. Some bands could be Hillsong, Jars of Clay ect....
I don't know about christain videogames. Most christian movies and games always come off as the blatent in-your-face type of christian. I don't know about you guys but when someone yells at a wallmart parking lot or crossection about how god is real and you need to repent, it makes me want to argue with them even though I'm a christian too. The blatent in-your-face type of preaching is a big turn-off for some people including myself.
That is why I said in another post that it has to be done in a subtle manner. Read Pon's post about Christian Games and you'll see my point.
No the Angel idea was not subtle, but the "Heavy Rainish" idea with the multiple characters is way more subtle. Yes I still listen to all of the christian bands i listed to 15 years ago....:D
