Rich, do you believe a baby has a right to life ten minutes after it's born? How about ten minutes before it's born? An hour? A day? A month? Nine months? Whether by rape or incest, every child has a right to life given to him/her by our creator. No woman has more rights than her baby; if she'd rather not be a mother because of her circumstances, then she should put the dear child up for adoption.
Honestly, it is not in any sense the government's job to provide healthcare for America's citizens. Government has one purpose: to protect the people (inside and outside of the country). Obama has taken away our freedom by turning this nation into a dependent herd of kids, almost none of which have any interest in working to pay their own hospital bills, or getting food for that matter (why even bring up food-stamps, and letting thousands of illegal immigrants into the states with special privileges and voting rights?...). Forcing Americans to spend thousands of our hard-earned dollars on Obamacare is beyond silly; it's outrageous. The man is steering our once-highly-respected nation down the road of an unstoppable debt crisis. He doesn't even believe America builds its businesses without the government; we built this nation, not him.
I unfortunately will be voting for Romney. I strongly dislike both candidates, but I believe Romney to be the lesser of two evils.
Agreed, Zargo. It's not that I'm trying to vote for only the most honorable and perfect candidates; if that were the case, then no one would ever vote. I'm voting for who I'd rather have as president.
We need another Reagan!
Don't make me cry, Carson. Vulcans aren't supposed to cry....
I respectfully disagree with what you have said. I believe a baby has the right to live; there are exceptions to which an abortion would be better than to let the child live; have to deal with inadequate parents. Or as another option, put the kid(s) up for adoption.
Y should the government not provide healthcare for the people? The kids were dependent long before Obama got in the White House. When Bush was President no one said (squat) about the things he did. Now, that Pres. Obama is trying to right the wrongs of his predecssot, everyone wants to give him (heck). STOP with the bs; give the mane some support. We would be further along as a nation, No one is saying Obama built this nation. Don't know where you got that information from.
I'm a gamer; a lover of music!
"When Bush was President no one said (squat) about the things he did."
What planet were you living on? It seemed like every day someone was complaining about something new with Bush. The thing was, though, that he didn't try to do anything as controversial as Obama, so it wasn't so publicized and common.
On the topic of abortion, I think it should only be allowed if the baby is killing the mother in some way.
It is not man's decision to decide what would be ''better'' for an unborn babe. First and foremost, not killing it would help its chances of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
The government shouldn't be in charge of giving people healthcare because it's not in their mandate. Your founding fathers stated clearly what the government's responsibility is, and it comes nowhere near controlling what we spend our money on.
And Obama has done nothing but make all-new mistakes, and plunged us deeper into debt.
Here's a very nice saying if you'd like to read it: “ If you knew a woman who was pregnant, and she had 8 kids already, three who were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis; would you recommend that she have an abortion?
If you said yes, you just killed Beethoven. “
Anyway, the moral of the story is: every life is worth something.
Oh so you want to see Obama elected again ehh. Well this is we will see if he gets elected again.
This was taken outside the Democratic National Convention. Enjoy.
