The Prayer Request Thread

That's...a lot, for sure.  I have the privilege of never suffering much all my life, so it can be jarring to see what others have gone through.  I really don't know where to start.

But this is precisely the reason for this thread!  A community of users on a website pales in comparison to interaction with a person, face-to-face, but there are people who support you here.  God may not be quick by our standards to fix things, but He will fix things in the end.  You will, at some point, look back on the suffering you experienced in this life and see it as the infinitesimal speck that it is compared to the awesome joy that you'll experience for eternity in the next life, if you will just persevere through it.  And in heaven, you will have that fellowship that you desire with millions of people and God Himself.  Just think, at some point in the future, you will meet Jesus Christ and all of His twelve disciples (except for Judas Iscariot, of course).

That can be hard to see when times are hard, sure, but God will help us through whatever period of suffering we may go through.  I'll definitely pray for you.

1 Peter 3:15 (NASB): "But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence."
