The lights are on
Fan page for the terrific TV shows Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra
THIS NEW EPISODE WAS FANTASTIC!
The producers finally took advantage of the love-square that they had set up, and it was pulled off in a very good way. Both the brothers have Korra on their mind... And Bolin's freak-out moment was hilarious. I love where this show is going.
Can't wait for next week!
Fan-art is a great thing! This was the last I worked on.
"There is neither good nor bad, but thinking makes it so." - William Shakespeare
wow! for the first time, i actually laughed at this show. i really enjoyed it.
The whole love-square thing going on is really interesting. I'm a sucker for romances, and I cheered when Korra just outright kissed Mako. Not sure what to think of Asami just yet; she's nice but does she have dark intentions? Also, Pabu had some stellar moments in this episode as well!
The whole episode being dedicated to Pro bending was cool too. Gosh, I'm loving it.
I think she's connected to Amon somehow, and so is her father. Yeah, I loved this episode. It's nice because there aren't many shows I can watch with my younger siblings, and this is one I can, and it's really cool to watch them react to the show the way I did to the original. Yeah, Bolin's meltdown was hilarious, and that wolfbat-Justin-bieber-***-wannabe is looking to be a really good antagonist.
hahaha "wolfbat-Justin-bieber-***-wannabe "
Second best part of the episode
I really hope Bolin gets Korra. there perfect for each other!
whats the ferrets name again?
The Fire Ferret is owned by Bolin, and is called Pabu.
I'd rather have Mako be with Korra, because Bolin's affection seemed more like a crush. But, y'know, whichever one :P
This episode was SOOOOO amazing!!!! And hilarious... "You're a bad idea!!!" LOL!
Also, am I the only one who doesn't see a difference between the Fire Ferret and the real Red Panda?
You bring up a good point.
^ Different? I THINK NOT.
well, that episode certainly had some surprises in it. also i love how the show now has the equalist as going from the inferior force to one vastly superior due to weaponry: you had 3 of the best benders in the city all defeated by a small squadron of the equalist forces. the show is definitely upping the ante with each episode and continues to avoid filler episodes which would just serve to hurt the high level of excitement the show has reached.
I finally bothered to get on. Anyway, the new episode was awesome in my opinion cause we get to see some awesome examples of bending, and I have to laugh because all the equalists will ever accomplish is becoming worse 'monsters' than the benders they hate so much and seek to destroy. Violence begets violence.
Anyway, I'm anticipating some bad-a Beifong in the future. And Tenzin was awesome.
Also, why hasnt Korra gone avatar state yet? It's the one thing I've been waiting for to happen.. Like seriously, can't you just imagine a tide of Equalist ninjas coming at her, she goes avatar state and swats them away with a tendril of water like its nothing.
I think Korra has the most trouble with the spiritual side of being the avatar. I think in the very first episode, the elders said that she lacked in that area.
This most recent episode was pretty cool. I don't think it had as much shock value to me like the last one did (with all those chi-blockers in the crowd) because Satoh (sp?) being a contributor was fairly obvious. I did like how Asami wasn't evil though (as far as we know) because I like her character. On another note, "NOT MY CABBAGE CORP!!!!" haha made my day!
