I've recently made two blog posts but can't find the way to create the excerpt to it looks right. I've read the part about putting the "Excerpt" in brackets but I've tried multiple ways and it still won't show up right. Can anyone assist on how it should look in the html? Should i put it before the paragraph or after?
Any help is appreciated.
Before you start writing your thread, you'll want to scroll down and hit the link that says "Advanced Editor." Click that and you should be able to do the excerpt thing (never works with the basic editor!), amongst many other cool stuff.

I recommend you check out GI's Guide to Getting Started page, which features a section helping you blog.

I have to agree with Paveway42 as even when using the tips listed there and the advanced editor, the changes you go for (Excerpts and page breaks) don't show up in preview mode, at least not for me. On top of that, accessing your blog dashboard is iffy at best and makes it hard to manage your blogs. It could be something else but I've found trying to blog here very frustrating.

This could be a browser related issue, too. Internet Explorer (my default browser) really doesn't seem to like GIO's blogging software, so I always switch to Firefox to post/edit blogs. Just a suggestion.
If quasiconundrum is right, then I have to recommend Google Chrome as your browser. I love it and have never had a problem. If you read about it you will find it is probably the best browser out there. So I hope you find out your problem and good luck. Also! Another tip is to write out the blog in Word or another writing program then copy and paste it. See ya!
I've used chrome exclusively and I only use GI's blog editor but will try using Firefox to see if that helps. Thanks everyone.
Yup, and if it doesnt work, it may just be that your computer doesnt like game informer lol I have had cases like that before. Anyways have a good day and I hope everything works out.
