The lights are on

So, I've spoken with BHW, and he's unable to continue the WGWC for personal reasons. However, he doesn't mind someone else taking up the torch. Anyone interested in the position should contact him at his twitter @loupInconnu. In the meantime, I think if we are to salvage this project, which I think is incredible, we'll probably need other people contributing to the ideas for each challenge. Perhaps he can help out with that occasionally, if nothing else.

I would be game but I have no Twitter to contact him.

Jolt, I'll let him know you're interested in continuing it.
Yea... Its definitely something that needs to be kept going.
wgwc?
Beer is the answer, but I can't remember the question.
Writers Guild's Writer's Challenge (I think this is the right way to write it... maybe it's not). Basically it's a few sort of blog writing quests given to the community every week. Participants write a blog post about the topic, taking into account some side notes that have been written by the WGWC host in the challenge announcement blog post. Usually there is also the length of the blog post written somewhere.
A participant will then write a blog post, usually including WGWC in the title or referencing it in the blog post. The host will read through all the entries, collect his thoughts about them and post a huge blog post about the challenge in the end of the week/next week, where he also announces the new challenge.
That's WGWC. It was originally run by BlackHeartedWolf, but he cannot do it now for personal matter.
It's Writer's Guild Weekly Challenge, unless I am completely mistaken.
Any word Levon?
Just how strong is the drive to continue this endeavor? Are there still some who come here by and by for the hope of more? There is a reason to why I ask this.
I volunteered, but haven't heard back from anyone. With the several cases of Writers Block running around the blogging community, It would do really well.
I'll ponder on this, there may be something I may attempt. I would guess initiative is in order here.
I thought about that, but I didn't feel like I had earned the ability to do so. I'm not exactly a veteran. If it does make a comeback, I am game.
I see no reason for offense if those that started the tradition is honored. I've a few people interested. I'll message you with ideas I have concerning this revival when I come up with a genuine plan.
Of course. I am behind it being brought back, but I would not take it upon myself. You've been here longer than me, so you know BHW a lot better than I do. I'll help however I can.
