So far, I like getting my issues digitally except for one thing: I cannot view the magazine easily on my Android phone. When I try to access the magazine on my phone, it sends me to a version for iPods and iPhones, which predictably does not work very well. So far, I have found no way to view the version I would see on my home computer, which I'm pretty sure would work better on Androids. Until Android support is added, is there any way to access the desktop version on my phone?

I agree with you, I've been trying to figure out a better way to view the digital GI magazine on my android tablet but it's no way to scroll up or down since the version its showing is for Iphone.  Does anyone have any suggestions or know a way around this?

Same with Kindle Fire, which can read any webpage like a normal laptop, except the site keeps redirecting me to *** iphone site (insulting to my Kindle to call it icrap).  Anyway, I will gladly change my account to digital if I can read it on my Kindle Fire (Android Tablet).  Just make it recognize it as a normal laptop and it will be fixed.  Thanks if anyone actually reads this to fix stuff.

Agree it suks on Android which is stupid since its the most popular mobile platform now.

I also agree as well. I personaly think they should make a gi app for this reason alone. It would make it easier to to get to the gi magazine as well as solving the problem of not working well.

Just posted about this in a separate topic.  Should have scrolled down first.  I am much more likely to read the digital magazine on my Android tablet.  There's no reason why we shouldn't get the full, interactive experience on our tablets.

My biggest gripe about having Digital is that I can't read the magazines on my android phone. Please Game Informer, make an android app for the magazine! :)

Agreed!! I'm always on the go and can't read the digital mag on my Android Phone.

Please give us an android compatible digital issue, or better yet give us a GameInformer app!

I agree with the opinion that a better android implementation of the magazine should be done. There are a few alternatives. An app has already been mentioned, but working with other digital magazine distribute rs like Zinio might work as well. For the rest already struglig with the crappy iOS webapp design in their android phones or tablet I recommend trying out a third part browser that allows for desktop viewing. Personally I used Dolphin to try the sample of the digital magazine and it crashes sometimes. Still, it's better than nothing.

i found that if you download the dolphin browser go to the settings, dolphin settings change the user agent to desktop it loads like the desktop version. but of course theres a draw back for some reason it will freeze up and not fully load advertisements so i just use the table of contents button instead of going through page by page. now dolphin is not as stable as google but it is better than nothing for now enjoy! oh and i am on a honeycomb tanlet i hope this works for everyone
