Just yesterday I renewed my GameStop membership for the discount which I knew would come with the GI subscription that I hardly read before. I chose the digital version so I wouldn't end up with a stack of unexciting magazines full of information I could get for free elsewhere online.
Unfortunately, I quickly found that the digital viewer is entirely unusable on my iPad and there's no newstand or PDF version. Wish I could just get GameStop Powerp rewards without the magazine.
Okay what is the fastest way to switch to the print edition. The digital edition is completely worthless to me. I was TOLD that you get pdfs so I thought it was perfect for my touchpad to read at work. I can't get online at work so this was a huge waste of time. Searching the forums seems like GameStop has been lying about this for months to people and they do nothing about it. How about a little corporate responsibility?
should be called an online edition not a digital edition.
Agreed. This is simply an online edition. Give us a download!
yes i realy need to downlaod the magazine the online vie is dont work for me and is more easy if can download them
A gaming mag without an iPad app is shameful. There is not much more I can say. Represent the technology that you cover.
a PDF should be readable by Ipad, no need for app.
Yes, this is absolutely ridiculous that we cannot read the magazine on our iPads....after all it is the top selling tablet. AND yes we need to be able to download the magazine so we can read it on the go. I travel a lot and don't have a internet connection everywhere i go so no internet = no magazine. PDF's or publish them so we can read them on iBooks. PLEASE! i might just not renew my power up card when it expires since i can't read the magazine except for when I'm at home......
There's no way in hell I'd ever give up my print subscription for a digital one that I can't even store on my hard drive.
Simply put we need a "Digital" version not an "Online" version i cant even read it anymore cause i thought i would be able to download a pdf into my ipod and read it later no i cant read it at all.
I would like to have a downloadable version for my Kindle Fire also. I am a police officer that spends 12 hours a day inside a patrol car with no internet connections or hot spots in the zone I work, so I agree with everyone above and would like to have an offline .pdf version to read while I am sitting running radar ,slow days, or when it is raining etc. Also I saw some comments above saying there was printed version. How the heck do you get signed up for that??
how do you switch back to the rpint copy because i really want to do that
Contact there customer service number and they should be able to help you.
I totally agree on having a downloadable version, so that I can read it on my Nook. I'm all for saving paper, but if I switch to the digital version on the computer I won't be able to read for too long since being on the computer too long makes me nauseous :-(
Man, I just switched to the digital edition as well. I mean, I guess it's my fault for not researching it but I'm sorry, when books and magazines are available on nook tablet and iPad and everything else, your average person is going to assume "digital" means "downloadable." If I knew I could ONLY read the digital magazine if I have internet, I wouldn't have bothered with it.
