make it easier to track your comments and people responding, like sending a notification, hey such and such commented on your comment. also WE NEED AN ANDROID APP, i check IGN on my phone but i want to check my Fav site, any plans for an app?

Considering the new IOS has come out for apple I was wondering if you will be taking part in the new newsstand feature. I like what's has been done with the digital copy the only draw back is I'm constantly on the go. The digital works great but in my opinion it's not that user friendly for your smart phone, which is where i view it 90% of the time,it can be very touchy at times when I'm tryin to scroll through the text of flip to the next page.

My suggestion/request would be a disable comments button at the top of each and every article. Sometimes I just want to catch up on the latest news and nothing more. Thank you.

This. Or at least, I came here to agree with this, but now that I look around it doesn't seem to be happening anymore. So either you guys fixed it pretty fast, or I just can't replicate the problem.

I only had time to read through the first page, so I'm sorry if this has already been said, especially given the topic, but what if the first thing you see on the thread page was a HUGE search box that said, "What's on your mind? Need to rant? See if some one else shares your thoughts too!"

There is, what looks to me, a large amount of space past the last thread on each page. But I know nothing about making a website. So I apologize if I am wrong.

And I noticed that lately, when I am reading the replies to articles with the lights off, every other post, the text is too light against the background.

When the first page of the forum is entirely locked announcements and sticky threads...well, it's not exactly user friendly. Maybe the number of threads per page could be increased. Alternatively, if threads could be stickied only in certain boards, say, only in Off Topic, and not on the main forum page, that would cut down on clutter.

Also, that comment I made a long time ago about sticky threads clogging up the Community tab on the home page is unfortunately still relevant.

i know it's been mentioned before, but can we please, please, please lock user reviews from review articles prior to a game's release? i'm so tired of seeing people give reviews of games they clearly have not had the opportunity to play.

Another thing. Why have multiple pages in the search results been omitted?

Occasionally, I try to point newcomers to threads that they have made duplicates of, but I can't find them if I can't view all of the search results.

Also, to be ahead of the game, I would recommend integrating Google+ to your sharing options. Every other website's doing it.

I haven't been on this website for a while, but I'm noticing a ridiculous amount of Stickies on the Forums.

With the new Blog overlay on the right, there's now an empty white gap at the bottom of the Forum list. Could we do something with that gap like perhaps raise the number of viewable Forum threads per page?

It would be great to add Steam profiles to our profile pages in the same area as Xbox LIVE, PSN, etc.

Currently I've got my Steam profile on my page by using a signature generator, but it really ought to be included alongside the other big game networks.

If I can make a suggestion, is it possible to get some sort of "Like" or "Kudos" system for the forums? The threads seem kind of tedious when you have to compliment one's post in your own post.

Jack, are you merely referring to a hope that it's possible to see anything you've already typed direct transferred or something? At any rate, no such option - just make sure you've got your work on a wordpad file or at least copied from the previous page.

I personally have bookmarked the control panel and start from there every time, so the whole gamut of tools are at my disposal - publishing settings and everything else, ya know?

It's quite crazy to me, that there doesn't appear to be any way to find that control panel for your first time, other than digging through advanced options - so suggestion to site maintenance here, how about adding a quicklink from the user profile page to go their control panel?

Is there a more streamlined way to use the advanced editor? Because as of now I have to go to post blog, then click on the advanced editor options, then leave that page to go to the manage posts section. It isn't a huge deal, but I feel it could be easier.

i think there should be a report button on user reviews .

the last few times i've when i see a games review and looked at user ones i've noticed a couple things.

1) the game wasn't released yet and people give it a perfect or near perfect score befor they've even played it and con't have played it unless they've pirated it or have a job as a tester or critic.

2) didn't review a game and bad mouth the company and/or system its on.

things like those either raise or lower ratings for invaild reasons and should be removed which is why i think we should be able to report them the way you can in the forums with the report abuse button

I suggest a notification system after someone replies to a comment I made. It gets a bit tedious having to go back to the thread and find the specific page I posted on to see if somebody replied later on.
