I have a new subscription of Game Informer magazines, but they are digital and I want them changed to print. I haven't received any yet and I just moved so also I want the address.(not sure this matters, but) I signed up PowerUp Rewards and GI at GameStop, so could my number be on my receipt?
First let's tackle change of address. Even though you aren't receiving print magazines at the moment, you can update your address filling out this form - http://www.gameinformer.com/subscriber/addresschange.aspx - now with that being squared away you need to contact the digital staff by e-mailing them at gameinformer-digital@gameinformer.com - just tell them you want to switch from digital to print, and give them your current address as well as the e-mail addressed associated with your digital subscription (most likely the same e-mail you use for all GameStop-related stuff).
Hope that helps! - Tony R.
Not to be rude but you didnt exactly answer his question. He asked how to find out the Suscriber Number and you answered questions he didnt really ask.
I need to know how to find my subscriber number as well - this should be listed under subscription information but it isn't and it should be mentioned in the FAQ but isn't.
I was sent this link:
The link didn't show. Here you go http://www.gameinformer.com/p/contactus.aspx
If you have ANY print copies of your GI subscription, that was mailed to you, you can find the SN on the part where it has your address and whatnot. Its the second line of text on the top. Should be an eight character number. Hope this helps.
Nope. I don't have any print copies.
How do I find my subscriber number online?
You have a powerup reward card? I think it's the first 8 (or last 8) numbers on the back right below the bar code, or at least the impression i get from my profile page...
If u don't have a magazine then you can't get your subscriber number, crazy I know. What do you need it for?
I e-mailed them directly. Just gave then my name, what I wanted to do
(switch to print version) and my address and they switched it all over for me. It will take 6-8 wks for it to all be official, which like 2 issues, but they did do it.
I had to e-mail them twice just to have it switched and i still have online subscription, so now i wait and hope they will switch it soon.
So they have not sent me any of my magazines and i would really like my damn number but i have been waiting 5 months... i cant fix the frickin problem until they get this together and send me one is that what i am hearing?
No. Just fill out this form with your name, email and mailing address and let them know what your issue is:
