  • dear game informer u piss me off i got my year subscription about a year ago and about 4 months later after i got it i moved to a new house. so i go to gamestop which is where i got the *** subscription and asked them to change my address so that the mag would come to my new house well guess *** what gamestop cant change it cause theres too many mix ups on the addresses so they dont do it. so i go to the website and guess what i dont have a *** account cause i dident sign up for it gamestop did all i did was pay the man and give him my address and phone number . so gameinformer screwed me over and i only got 4 issues when i should have got 12. so in the future u stupid ass gameinformer people need to make it to where u can just use our powerup cards to log in if u got your year subscription at gamestop cause they dont tell u your account information for gameinformer that is if they even do make an account. the powerup card idea i think is a good one cause who the hell is gonna know the number on your powerup card other than u???

  • If you have one of those 4 magazines you did receive all you need to do is find the subscription number on the cover where your address is printed to change the address here on the website.  You don't even technically need to be signed in on the website to do it either.

On the website, go under the Magazine tab at the top of the screen and click on Contact Customer Service.  On that screen click on the "I'm moving and/or need to change my address" option.  Once there just fill out the information it asks for.  If you're not sure what your subscription number is there's even a "What's this?" link by the subscription number field that shows you where your subscription number is located on the cover of your magazines (hint: it's that 8 digit number on the second line of the address label).

Now if you don't have any of the magazines you had received anymore, I'm not sure how you'd go about finding your subscription number.  In that case I'd guess the best thing to do is either call the customer service number (1-866-844-GAME, Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm CST.) or send an email to customerservice@gameinformer.com and explain your situation.

Note: I do not work for either Game Informer or Game Stop, I'm just a moderator that tries to help out as best I can.
