The lights are on
Please bear with us as we have launched in beta so you may notice a bug or two. The best thing you can do is let us know right here in the Site Feedback Forum. Have a question or comment regarding the new site? This is your place.
Considering the new IOS has come out for apple I was wondering if you will be taking part in the new newsstand feature. I like what's has been done with the digital copy the only draw back is I'm constantly on the go. The digital works great but in my opinion it's not that user friendly for your smart phone, which is where i view it 90% of the time,it can be very touchy at times when I'm tryin to scroll through the text of flip to the next page.
make it easier to track your comments and people responding, like sending a notification, hey such and such commented on your comment. also WE NEED AN ANDROID APP, i check IGN on my phone but i want to check my Fav site, any plans for an app?
The ability to "favorite" blogs. We're able to favorite threads in the forums we like the most, but we can't do the same for blogs. Would be a nice little feature.
Also having all of the "Latest Post" links in the forums active. It is active in some places like the Gear & Media board, but not in the Off Topic board.

I would like the ability to have multi-user conversations. The wall is okay, but something more in-depth would be really great.

MULTI USER CONVERSATIONS! Pls
We need an option to invite friends into existing conversations. Pretty Please?
@Supersnake: YES! AMEN TO THAT! YES!
I wouldn't mind if where your most recent friends are, a most visited profiles list was there instead. That way it is much easier to talk with your long time firnds who have not posted on your profile in a while.
Gaming Warthog joined Multi-user conversation supporters. Gaming Warthog used his powers from Persona to threaten using Armageddon if Multi-user conversation does not get added.
Peaceful Days died, Let's Survive
Ok guys I love your magazine and I would like to be able to get to on my iPhone. Not everybody has an iPad please make an app for iPhone:)
The app doesn't work on Google's new Nexus 7 tablet; which I'm using now. Can you please update the app. Thx!
Can Favorites be programmed in such a way that the link will always take one to the latest post, or is it intended more for favoriting specific posts?
Likewise, if the intent is as suggested, perhaps we can have a separate Bookmark option so that our most visited forums will link to the latest post?
Or am I missing something? (That's a rhetorical question LOL.)
GIO Usage Guidelines/The Newcomer Cheat Sheet/Terms and Conditions
I have visited this website for many years and do so on a daily basis now, but I just recently created an account. After spending quite a while getting to know the ins-and-outs of the website, I have come away disappointed with the site of the "largest digital publication in the world." One would think with a claim that grand, Game Informer would be able to leverage its resources to create a friendly, modern user experience with its website. However, that is not the case.
I rummaged through the forums before posting my own suggestions for the site, and I happened to come across forums already created with the same purpose in mind, including of course, this one. Seeing as how the latest comment was made in late 2012, I decided to round up some of the suggestions I glanced at throughout this forum, other forums, and ones I came up with.
1. Ability to delete own account
2. Fast, easy, and direct access to one's own comments on articles, forums, etc.
3. In-site notifications like Facebook does
4. Refresh sections of the webpage, without refreshing entire page
5. Improved efficiency of web performance, particularly when clicking on the "Save" button after updating settings or profile
6. Calendar for new releases
Let me know what you think. Feel free to tell me if any of these suggestions have already been done. Lastly, please add any other suggestions for improvement of the website. A lot has changed since 2012, and I feel like Game Informer can and should overhaul its outdated networking.
