i have the same problem but the thing is that somehow my subscription got changed from paper to digital without my consent, which im not bothered, but iam bothered that i cant log in to see my digital magazines anything you can do to steer me in the right direction or help me.
I've been jumping through hoops for over an hour trying to figure out how to get my digital game informer subscription. I joined the Power Up Pro program at Gamestop on 11/04/12 and finally got around to signing up on their website and created a profile here as well in an attempt to figure out how to get access to the online subscription to no avail. I dug through my e-mail on the day of and a week beyond the day that I signed up and no luck there neither. This is the only thread of any relevance I can find that may provide answers. Please let me know what I need to do to prove that I'm supposed to have a subscription so I can access them on my iPad. I have also registered my power up membership ID on this site, still no dice.
I can't find your email address in our digital subscriber database. Perhaps you got the print edition when you signed up? If so, and since you don't have a magazine yet where you can get your subscriber number (from the back of the magazine), send a message on this form:
Ask Customer Service a Question Form
Include your email, name, and address so they can find you in the system. And ask them to give you the digital edition.
I switched from print to digital about 2-3 days ago and I have not been able to access the digital issue. My email address matches but I still can't access it. I don't see any launch button when I go under "Read Current Issue." It takes me to an error screen saying that my email may not match? Any help?
The email you've set on GI.com isn't in the digital subscriber database. You should have gotten an email saying that you we don't have your email on file.
I never got an email saying that my email is not on file. I did get a confirmation email about switching to digital. I've also subscribed through gamestop originally.
I'm unable to read for about 2 months now, I got an email usual like before but now there's sign-in error.
Also few months ago I called Gamestop and they said they extended my subscription for about 1 year but it's just expired(what a liar) and recently ive just paid for my subscription(don't know how many time i've been paid for this) and it's still doesn't work.
I just signed up on the website using the email that I get the emails for the digital issue on, but when I click the link in the email it brings me to a page that gives me a sign in error. It says that my emails don't match, but even when I tried using the only other email it could possibly be it gives me the same error. I don't understand why it is not working.
hey the same thing happened to me .whats the solution ?
Set your email here to the one you used when you got your subscription.
The email on Setting>Email & Newsletter ?
It's the same email as always, I've been using this email before and one day it's suddenly can't sign-in anymore.
Your subscription ended in October.
Wow, that's shocking. I knew that and I already paid at gamestop and the guy even said I'll get my magazine which I didn't as always.
Before my subscription ended I called and tell them that I've never received my magazine and guy on the phone said he will extend my membership for another year.. so that was a lie? what a piece of sh*t, and even he said so I paid to resubscribe anyway(sorry, I'm try not to angry but the line has been crossed).
This is not the first time and I think I'm done. I know it wouldn't hurt you guys to lose just "one" customer and I don't think you even care(if you really care, this would not happen in the first place).
I've been searching the discussions for a while, but haven't found anything like my problem. When I click the "read PC/Mac" edition to read the new digital issue, it brings me to a blank, gray screen rather than the magazine itself. I recently renewed my membership with GameStop and had no problems before this, and I've tried refreshing, waiting on the page, signing out and back in, restarting my computer, re-installing flash, but none of it seems to work. Please help if you can, I'd like to read about Thief.
It sounds like you're getting authenticated fine, but your system is not getting the digimag files. They might be getting "blocked" by a firewall or reverse proxy. Are you on your home network?
