@Slowe: The bar goes away through a JavaScript process, do you have JavaScript disabled, by chance? It also is there when we are waiting for a response from the video provider, but as far as I know they've had no downtime.

@Octaytse: You get an error when saving your birth date to your profile?
Yes, it goes under gender when I input it (on my profile display) and when it is entered it still doesn't let me watch all the videos. I will change my profile to demostrate.
Whenever I try to watch a Replay using the old player, the page loads but the video player just says "waiting" and never starts, I've tried clicking play anyway and it still only says "waiting". I have tried both my laptop and desktop, Firefox and Internet Explorer, and it always does this.
I'm having the same issue as Blackhawklz. All the newer videos, with the new player, work fine for me, but all the older ones just sit at "Waiting" no matter how long I wait for the player. I've tried Chrome, Firefox, and Explorer and I've updated everything I can but still no luck. It's really disappointing, since I was really looking forward to watching the older Reiner and Phil videos. I'd gotten around the problem with the Replay videos by watching them through the hubs new media player, but other videos don't have that option.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I've read in the past about the player crashing on people, but I've never had an issue until I switched to a new laptop. Is it just a disagreement between this newest version of Firefox and Flash player? Or is there something I can do to stop the crashes? Certain videos seem to crash way more often than others.
It isn't latest Firefox and latest Flash, CmdrCamp, because I have those and it is all working fine for me. It has to be deeper than that, and we're working on what I think is a potential solution.
Any information about my system I can give to help?
Everything's up and running. Java, updated flash player. I can view vids on every other sight I go to, but for some reason not here....kind of sucks since I have to hit up IGN to view some of the same vids.
Yeah, I've been having issues with flash crashing a ton during the newer replay videos. I think during the 'narc' replay it must have crashed at least a dozen times as I was constantly reloading the page and skipping to where I left off. I have had a few random crashes on other sites but very rarely, nowhere near the rate I get watching the replay videos. I run Windows 7, and have the latest versions of Firefox and Flash.
Flash regularly crashes for me. I'm using the latest version of Chrome, and everything else is up to date. Really frustrating, especially when watching longer videos like the Replay.
I don't know if something changed, but I haven't had a video crash for a few days now. Even older ones that would. Just thought I would update.
Thanks, CmdrCamp, that's good news.
Unfortunately, we are still researching the issue. Did you by chance change any settings related to Java or its updater? Just curious. It is fine if you don't know.
Not manually, I haven't. I haven't changed anything related to Java, Flash Player, or Firefox. The only things I know that have changed are the regular Window's updates that install. It was about a week between my last viewing when it would crash and when I tried watching again and it didn't.
Sorry I couldn't be much more help than that.
So I have no crashes to report. But as of yesterday I don't see videos. The spot the player would occupy in a news post is blank. User born4this is having the same issue. I downloaded the latest flash I could find, 10.2, and no dice. I don't have this issue on other websites such as youtube or cinemassacre.
