Two days into World Cup and no one has anything to say?!

Am I one of the few US gamers with World Cup fever? I mean did you see that match against England today - we went up against a giant and played far better than we did at any point in World Cup 2006 (where the only goal awarded to the United States was actually scored off the foot of an Italian). Sure we had luck on our side today with Green's botched block, but I've got good feelings about this World Cup.

So is anyone else with me or am I the lone soccer hooligan on gameinformer.com's sports forum? Anyways, off to bed, Slovenia and Algeria's 7am game comes all too early.

PS: England, you deserve a beer after that one - a good, strong bitter. Because a tie against us "lowly" yanks should leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Admittedly, I wasn't too hyped up for the World Cup. After watching a few games, I discovered that hey, soccer is pretty good. I was pretty surprised that US tied with England, England really isn't as good as they thought they were.

Yeah, I am hit with the World Cup fever, I've already got my picks on ESPN, and I can't wait for the bracket.

Also remember, USA did pretty well last summer or so in the FIFA Cup. We have just as good of player as anyone from Europe, the bad thing is that they just have more. Tim HOward is the Sh*t though!!! I'm glad he is over his turrets...
