The lights are on
You like Godspeed You Black Emperor, but we prefer Mozart. It doesn't matter because here we all dance to the same tune. Let's all hang out and we can make beautiful music together.
With all of the music that's out now, i was thinking that the GIO community could help introduce each other to new bands and artists.
A few at a time, please. Here's mine:

The Stones are what you consider mass produced. They are very mainstream classic rock.
Im gonna go with a band that is under rated and somewhat of an underground band. Suicidal Tendencies.
Genre: Punk/Metal Some call it Skate Punk.
1980's to the present.
Another underground guy. If you appreciate underground rap.
This dude has been on the grind.Yelawolf just signed him and then he got sent to prison right after. Country Singer and legend Waylon Jennings grand son- Struggle.
Genre- Gangsta Rap
Been on the grind for the last 5 or so years almost broke big.
Oh in case you didnt put two and two together, after listening to the song he sampled a great song from Waylon.. that was about some real stuff that happened to him and Willy Nelson.
I like those two last posts.
It's true Suicidal Tendencies are a bit underrated.
I think Yelawolf is no longer underground, since he did have that record deal. His mixtape was great though.
I've got 2 more.
Artist: Brand New Sin
Genre: Hard Southern Rock but are from upstate NY.
The song is by Struggle who is underground, with Yelawolf featured on it.
Ah the vid din't load for me.
Thanks for the correction.
The song is quite good.
@ Wayoverdue Don't try to disqualify music as not being good there are that people would say that every band that has been listed here should not be considered music. Granted, Metal Blade doesn't come out with many good bands, but Unearth and Goatwhore are great. As far as bands people might not know go, I'll go with a band that I recently discovered:
Genre: German industrial goth metal. It's considered club music in Germany yet we int the States get stuck with LMFAO.
And of course I must also always recommend Otep
Genre: New Metal. I'd most recommend her first and third albums, Sevas Tra and the Ascension (respectively) everything she does is great but those are her best albums.
I rather enjoy myself some Oomph and Otep. Good stuff.
@Knapptime, check out Emigrate. They are fantastic.
Genre: Doom Metal
Artist: Krumb Snatcha (he recently retired)
Artist: Childish Gambino
Genre: Rap, Hip-Hop
Don't judge until you hear his song heartbeat. i swear it's epic.
You guys are pretty productive! As of now, list whatever.
Artist: Earth Crisis
No, it's not just screaming. It's singing, but it's gruff. Not quite screaming yet. But, I haven't heard their newest stuff, so I don't know.
