The lights are on
Have you ever seen that one movie with that dude in it? Chances are someone here has, and they want to talk to you about it. Grab some popcorn and discuss all things relating to the silver screen.
I think it was ok but it was one of the most wierd movies ive ever seen, so Im suprised i didn't have nightmares from how wierd it was but what do you guys think?
I haven't seen it yet.
And I think it's out of theaters in my area.
It was a wonderful adaptation of the book and they did a great job of stretching out such a short book to full-movie length. That kid is a really great young actor.
have not seen it yet.....but the trailer song is really good
It's Wake Up by The Arcade Fire
it was different than what i had expected it to be, i loved it, but i do admit looking at my watch to see if we were close to the end, but it was strange, it had a good message, but in a depressing way, and even to the point to where the visual style of the cinematography seemed to be a bit depressing. Great film, but not a movie to see with a kid, because all you will hear is them complaining that they're bored
If Spike Jonze worked with the pacing a little bit more, the film would have been close to being perfect in my eyes. As it stands, I still thought the film was great. It's one of those rare films that gets what it is like to be a kid so well.
I really appreciated this movie, on the reverse side it seems to be like jonze's other works in that people either love it or despise it (I loved this movie, but hated being john malkovich, my friend is the exact opposite, he hated where the wild things are but loved malkovich)
