The lights are on
Have you ever seen that one movie with that dude in it? Chances are someone here has, and they want to talk to you about it. Grab some popcorn and discuss all things relating to the silver screen.
19 years later, and what should have won Best Picture: Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, or Pulp Fiction? I haven't seen Shawshank, but I would personally say Pulp Fiction. Granted, I absolutely love anything with Tarantino, so I'm a little biased, but that's my opinion.
Y'know, I never realized what a good year 1994 really was. For me, it's between Forest Gump and Shawshank, both of which I've seen just recently. With only the greatest of hesitation, I would think that maybe, just maybe that Shawshank was the best film, but Tom Hanks still deserves his Oscar for Best Actor by far. All three are amazing films that I honestly wish we still had more like them in cinema.
Tom Hanks definitely deserved the Oscar, but yes it was a fantastic year, no matter your taste in movies.

Sorry I posted that comment twice.
the edit bar can be used to alter double posts that way you can prevent that triple post, and you should probably see Shawshank, those were all great films but it's one Oscar win that I'm okay with, it's not like when Shakespeare in Love beat out Saving Private Ryan
