The lights are on
Have you ever seen that one movie with that dude in it? Chances are someone here has, and they want to talk to you about it. Grab some popcorn and discuss all things relating to the silver screen.
Think the directors got it right when they made this movie in 3D. The best part was the lynbrith scene with Perseus, his brother, and Queen Adromeda. Also, enjoyed the fight scene between Aries and Perseus. The scenery was awesome as usual in these movies. My question is with the way it ended will there be a part 3; can someone tell me when Perseus had a son; how/why did we not know about it before the release of this movie? Also, I know about the relationship between Aries and Perseus; how they are related to Zeus, and Poseidon; where does Hephatus fit into the picture? This movie leaves out crucial information unless you are familiar or having a running knowledge of Greek/Roman mythology. If not, then I urge u to Google Greek/Roman mythology/gods. Just my two cents!
Sidebar:Ughh, hate surprise like that esp. when they are crucial, imho to the main plot; underlying plot of the movie. I would rate the film a 9/10. Reason being, for use of 3D, action scenes, and my love of Greehk/Roman mythology, and ancient history. Anyone agree or disagree with my rating, if so, what would u rate this movie; why??
I'm a gamer; a lover of music!
I guess I'll rate it a 7 or 8 out of 10. Because I thought it would be more Greek God family issues. They didn't go to in-depth like I thought they would. Also, Kronos was there so Perseus could have something the Tri-Bolt could strike. Kronos wasn't the villian I thought he'd be at least give him something to do beside throw lava and smash people. Besides that it was good.
Connection Is Power
I agree with u 100%. They left out some crucial parts of the movie in the overlying plotline. Kronos was true to his character. Go back and study your Greek/Roman Mythology. Learned a lot more about Hephatus then what I knew before. He was a genius in his own right. If u want to get biblical for a min., Hades and Zeus, can be compared to the "sons of thunder", James and John, Jesus' disciples. Just saying! Its interesting how u can find Christian themes in a "paganeque" movie, no?
Haven't seen it but I am enthused by your review. I haven't been to a movie that benefited from 3d but hearing this gives me great interest. Maybe I'll watch it on my friends 3d tv sometime.
I'd like to hear your thoughts once you've seen the movie.
