If you are unfamiliar with the original Boondock Saints, you need to stop reading this and go watch that movie.  If you have seen it, All Saints Day is a great sequel that holds the same standards of humor and ridiculous action as the first one.

The story this time around follows the brothers as they return to Boston after a priest was murdered in such a way as to mimic the Saints.  After that, the movie progresses well, and although some of the action is ridiculous, it's not entirely inconceivable.  The new characters are likable, though the new FBI agent just seemed forced into the movie as an afterthought.  Obviously it wasn't, but it just had that feel to me.  The new comic relief character is great, and the original trio of Boston detectives return and have the same wacky antics as before.

Although I can't say that I was overwhelmingly impressed, it was a pretty good movie.  The story plays off the original, which is still a relatively untouched concept.  However, I can't find anything particularly stand-out about this movie.  It's got a ton of good action, and a ton of good laughs.  Don't go if you can't handle racial or homosexual jokes, they are beyond prevalent in the movie, and that isn't a bad thing.
