wait, there have been AoU tie-ins? WTF LCS! They usually throw those in my pull list automatically.
*SPOILERS?* so I guess AoU is going to end with Angela from Spawn showing up in the Marvel Universe...
"If you really loved me you'd all kill yourselves right now" -Spider Jerusalem
@Chaos: yeah but they said it's not even an important part of the climax. It kinda makes sense to bring in an other-universe character with all the alternate-dimensions and what-not in AoU.
its pretty important if you know who the freaking character is, and who created her, and who's going to start writing comics again: Neil ****in Gaiman, that's who
Whatever her impact is, it'll be on a cosmic level, her appearance is going to have an effect shown in Guardians of the Galaxy #5 according to the official Marvel website. New team member?
Peaceful Days died, Let's Survive
I'm just confused at how they can work a demon hunting angel into Marvel continuity, I know stranger things have happened, but she was pretty firmly ingrained in the Spawn mythos
@Chaos @Cameron: I haven't a clue what you guys are talking about. Lol
My pull list
Vocatus atque non vocatus deus aderit.
@Queso: lol. Angela is a character from Spawn but now she is going to appear in the Marvel U because Neil Gaiman has rights to the character and he is bringing her into Marvel. I don't really know much about her though.
@Chaos: I know she's important, I just meant that they said it isn't really tied to the AoU plot/climax.
Angela is an angel HellSpawn hunter who has been killing Spawns throughout history, she first showed up along with medieval Spawn and count Cogliostro in issue 9 of Spawn written by Neil Gaiman, she's apparently going to pop up at the end of AoU and then be a part of the Marvel universe because why the hell not?
I really liked Guardians of the Galaxy #0.1 & #1, and I also got caught up on my Uncanny X-Men (#2 & #3) which was really good too. I am debating on which one I want to add to my pull list.
@Cameron@Chaos: Thanks you two!
@Cameron: I didn't really like the first two issues of UXCM but I'll try to stick through the first arc; however, I've heard that the third issue is worse than the first two so I may have to drop it.
Well Doc Ock is already being beginning to be replaced. That lasted long.
Looks like there's going to be a phase 2 of Marvel NOW. I read about it in a interview with Axel Alonso (I think) on Comic Book Resources. Two titles have already been announced, Avengers A.I (Avengers team consisting of robots) and Superior Foes of Spider-Man (focusing on the new sinister six shown in Superior Spider-Man).
The line up of Avengers A.I is this so far: Hank Pym, Vision, Victor Mancha, Doombot, Alexis and possibly Monica Chang. I have no idea why a Doombot is now an Avenger
Superior Spider-Man is starting to sound more like a lengthy storyline then a new status quo.
Yeah, I say that the title for issue #9 of Superior Spier-man is "Superior no more!" I dont know if that means he will be back to parker, but I really hope so. What is funny to me is how in AoU the spider-man in the main story is totally Peter Parker. They had to do that Spidey tie to try to convince us otherwise, but we all know the truth.
I like the idea of a doombot being center stage. Also, how about that last issue of AoU with Vision all yoked up! that was bonkers. I have not read this weeks issue yet though. I know that Spider-man is Marvel's bread and butter, but I really dont see the need for yet another spider-man related book. I guess the same goes for another avengers related book. I feel like they are over saturating the market.
