@Chaos: So tell us how you really feel. Lol. Yeah, I feel you on Morrison as he seems to the kind of writer who can just be slightly off-putting. It has to come in waves. A "worst comic book experiences" thread sounds like a good idea. It could serve as a warning as what to avoid I've always wanted to read the Boys but haven't yet. Nice choices for covers too. I've been really impressed by those for Masks, and the Shadow in particular.
My pull list
Vocatus atque non vocatus deus aderit.
the boys is good garth ennis, I mean Garth Ennis is a good writer but he tends to get too caught up in writing about jerks, with boys he has his cake and eats it too by giving us a sympathetic character who we can associate with as well as a borderline psychopath who likes to beat the piss out of people, its on par with Preacher in a lot of ways and surprisingly has a lot of stuff dealing with the morality of killing which is pretty uncharacteristic of Ennis

@Chaos: After I finished reading Damsels #4 today I read a blurb in the back about Ennis writing a book called Red Team or something like that.
I've seen that ad, it looks like another one of ennis' off shoot genre books, of which there are a couple dozen, it might be good but I'm not going to be adding it to my pull just because ennis can be so wishy washy with some of his stuff
