Holy crap, Hawkeye IS amazing, #11 was freakin fantastic, I'm gonna subscribe if its always that good.
I'm actually kind of reading through Hawkeye, I'm about 3 issues into the run and it's a fun little series, the character dialogue could use some work though, I'm hoping it improves as the series goes on because Clint Barton seems very...not Clint Barton, more quirky guy who's a superhero sometimes, it'll be nice to see if as the series goes on Fraction adds that extra little something that makes him Hawkeye because so far the closest he's got was the line about always being ready to use anything in any room as a weapon
"If you really loved me you'd all kill yourselves right now" -Spider Jerusalem
I think I'm going to subscribe to Hawkeye and check out Daredevil probably because most people say those are the 2 best books Marvel is putting out right now. Pretty sure I'm going to subscribe to the 2 Bendis X-Men books, and probably Wolverine and The X-Men too. Now seems like a pretty good time to dive into the X-Comics
Another Marvel series I think I'm gonna get into is the upcoming 'Inhuman' book by Matt Fraction and Joe Mad, where the Terrigan Mists are spread over the world and Inhumans start popping up all over the world.
Sadly, Inhuman means Fraction will be leaving Fantastic Four and FF. Forgot who's replacing him, but I remember reading the new writer is going to follow Fraction's plans for a couple of issues to wrap it up, then I assume he writes his own story arcs. And now we're on Infinity. Prepare for the onslaught of tie-ins. Hopefully most will still manage to continue the plot without being too sidetracked by Infinity, UA and FD did a good job of that with AoU.
On a related note, I got the first trade of the Marvel Now Journey Into Mystery series (why did they have to cancel it) and the first trade of Avengers Academy (Marvel needs more youth centered books that weren't created to kill off characters). Both are good.
Peaceful Days died, Let's Survive
I'm really looking forward to Inhuman, and I've never read F4, but it sucks Fraction is leaving since I've heard good things. Infinity is shaping up to be pretty solid but I won't repeat my mistake of saying it's going to be amazing, like I did with AoU, I won't be picking up the tie-ins though just cause I'm already picking up too much already. As for youth-centered books, you should try Young Avengers based on public opinion
I'm already reading Young Avengers, it's great, I just wish we have more youth centered books like it. Marvel has plenty of titles it can restart, Power Pack, Avengers Academy, Runaways. And yeah, AoU was a huge disappointment, but I have faith that Hickman is a better event writer than Bendis.
Well I think Avengers Arena is ending in november and I think that it's going to be replaced with another youth-centered book
As long as it doesn't kill off characters to hype villain's, that sounds good. I've been following Avengers Arena through summaries, so I know who's dead so far.
I'm actually pretty excited for Battle of the Atom on Wednsday.
I need to get back into picking up comics when they come out. I'm really behind on Fearless Defenders.
Also, Marvel's renewing Marvel NOW with All-New Marvel NOW. Inhumanity and All-New Invaders are the currently announced new titles (the Invaders team is Cap, Bucky, Namor and the original Human Torch). It's likely what Cameron said about Avengers Arena being replaced is true considering the solicits.
I'm interested in All-New Invaders and Inhumanity. They seem different from what Marvel currently has out.
Definitley going to read Inhuman, but I hope its contained in the one title.
