I vote for Queso. I do think the Comics Group could use a revamp, it has kinda died a bit.
Connection Is Power
I've been here longer than any of you, just sayin'
"If you really loved me you'd all kill yourselves right now" -Spider Jerusalem
That is a good point. Do you have any interest in taking ownership?
Nones y'all showin' me no' love!
I'm just joking, I think Queso would be a great owner but I have some ideas that I think would be really fun and bring the group together.
which I am making a thread for
and @ Chaos: Hahahaha I know, I was actually going to ask you if you had any interest in it.
but before we get to serious about any ownership at all, we have to make sure its possible, Jeff still hasn't messaged me.
@cam
It's not that we're not showing you love, it was just us deciding secondary owners if you're the main one.
@chaos
I didn't mean any offense by nominating fame and queso over you. I knew you were here longer, I was just going by dedication and effort which they've shown here even when it seemed like they were mostly talking to each other
Vittoria per gli Assassini!
I love you all and I think anyone would be deserving of ownership or co-ownership, with the exception of me.
Now, bringing this conversation back on topic. We got several new #1's from Marvel. so far I have only read Thor #1 and I loved it. Jason Aaron is, in my opinion, very under rated as a writer (for a guy with two first names that is). I still gotta read All New X-Men and Fantastic Four, I skipped X-Men Legacy though.
@FAMESREVENGE: Yesterday, I was at the comic shop for a little more than an hour and the staff was asking the regulars about their feelings on Marvel NOW!. Most weren't all that enthusiastic about it. I was also super psyched to get Thor: God of Thunder as I love Aaron's writing as well, in fact, I subscribed to it for that very reason. I'm also looking forward to All New X-Men and will give XML a chance but I have a feeling I'll be dropping that title. I've never liked Legion.
My pull list
Vae Victis.
Vocatus atque non vocatus deus aderit.
Thor: God of Thunder is amazing. Let me know when you read it.
@FAMESREVENGE: Will do.
@Fame: I read the preview for it and it seems good.
jason aaron is far from underrated, he's been a critical and sales giant since he started writing scalped for vertigo, his run on ghost rider was also praised and now he's being thrown a ton more work, there is a difference between being known and having a bigger workload, I'd heard of scalped but didn't get into any of his work until wolverine and the x-men
Well, I guess I am basing that on that I never really hear people talking about him. Compared to some of the folks who write for Marvel, Bendis, Faction et al. he doesn't seem to get as much attention
