Well I know that most of us here are more interested in super hero comics, but there are a lot of people who do read the star wars comics. My friend reads some of them occasionally and he lets me read them, I actually think they are pretty great, I even considered getting a subscription to one (Legacy). So I was just wondering if anyone here reads them, if so which ones, and why do you like them?

Oh dear. There are so many SW comics out there and Dark Horse puts out some pretty good stuff consistently. Personally, I was a fan of SW: Legacy, SW: Purge: Seconds to Die (one shot), SW: Dawn of the Jedi (first arc just ended), SW: Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison, SW: Invasion (Invasion and Rescues too as they involve the Yuuzhan Vong). I really like the art with these stories but they do somehow manage to add depth to a universe that is inundated with tons of ideas so that's both surprising and refreshing. I'll try to think of more but these are ones that came off the top of my head. I thought Legacy had ended at least a year ago.

I don't think that I've read any of those besides Legacy, but they sound good. I don't know, Legacy probably did end, you would probably know better than me, I only get a chance to read the ones my friend has, and he doesn't have that many.

I have never read a Star Wars Comic. I have bought one, but it came with a Boba Fett vs. IG-88 action figure set I bought at Hot Comics. I am not against reading them, it is just low on the priorities list.

@ Cameron: There are Tons of them out there so take your pick. You probably can't go too wrong. I'll have to check up on Legacy but I didn't read every issues of the series. Honestly, I'm not a fan of Cade Skywalker at all.

@FAMESREVENGE: *Gasp!* Blasphemey! Just kidding. That's how I acquired one of my SW: Republic issues that dealt with the really enjoyable Battle of Jabiim arc.

They should be high priorities. Star wars is great .. true SW nerd here tho. My wife bought me the leather bound Advetures of Luke Skywalker last year... its huge and one of my favorite additions to my collection. Also legacy can be sweet!

The only SW related thing my fiancee got me was a Darth Vader bank, but I used and appreciated it. I love leather-bound stuff but it can be unwieldy. It's pretty cool your wife got you that.

The only SW related thing my wife ever gave me was when she chopped off my arm with a future sword.
