@FAMESREVENGE: That was pretty convoluted and seeing as I've not read any of those stories is made no sense to me at all but kudos for explaining.
@Chaos: Does he still use "mercy bullets"?
@cybertronian: I do remember seeing that but it didn't really grab my interest at the time.

Based on all you guys have said...hasn't this already happened in "X-sanction" (except with cable) . I didn't even read it but it seemed like the big-picture was Cable "killing" the Avengers...but Idk...marvel is REALLY over-doing it with "events".
the last punisher "event" was omega sanction which was a three issue series tying avenging spider man, daredevil and punisher into one story, and it was great, thats why I have such high hopes for this

Well, That and this sound pretty awesome, but doing a main event every year (which is what they do) is just too much, they definitley make the events way too frequent, it tones down the feeling of the events.
@Cameron: Yeah, the yearly event thing does get tiring. Here's an idea! How about having each title be well-written and engaging enough on its own?!
@Chaos: There is something to be said for three thereabout issue story arcs as they don't tend to lose the readers' interest so quickly. That sounds pretty interesting too.
