  • @Austin: Pffffffft. I'm lost on that one. Short of looking it up, I got nothing. I know nada about the X-Men except for a select few. And even still, I'm not entirely up to date on them. For some reason, the X-Books just couldn't keep my interest...... Colossus and Nightcrawler are the *** though.

@Chaos: Because Marvel though it would be retarded to have him gain the Gem of Cyttorak, essentially turning him into The Juggernaut, without retaining some sort of look of Juggy. So they opted to give him the helmet instead of, oh I don't know, gauntlets and boots similar to Marko's that hold the Gem in them?

Whatever life holds in store for me, I will never forget these words: "With great power comes great responsibility." This is my gift, my curse. Who am I? I'm Spider-Man.

  • try jason aarons wolverine and the xmen, its 4 issues in but its pretty awesome already

  • yeah i heard it was really good. I need to check it out.

  • @Austin: Yes, that was back when she was a part of the Brotherhood.

@Chaos is Beauty: I have read through a few issues of Wolverine and the X-Men but I can't stand the art so I'll just get it as a trade. I especially like what's been done with Iceman.

  • Well, it is early in the morning so I just scanned this thread so I apologize if I am repeating things that have already been said. Avengers vs. X-men has been a bit of a disappointment to me thus far. #4 comes out this week and I m hoping that it will take a turn for the better. Someone mentioned civil war earlier, that was great because I actually felt allegiance to one side, I do not really care who wins this fight. I actually enjoyed Fear Itself, even with the fake death of Bucky.

  • @FAMESREVENGE: I hear ya. While the series has gotten slightly better I still don't really feel compelled to support either side. That being said, I do feel a slight pull towards Cyclops's X-Men but that's my personal bias.

  • I read the first main series issue and it is better than I would have thought. But who is that kid in the beggining who says father. I`m with the X-men

  • Are you sure you are talking about the first issue? If i remember correctly in the 2nd issue (third if you count issue 0) Magneto's son says he is with the Avengers, or at least against the x-men. Is that what you are talking about?

  • Sorry, no I meant that I am with the X-men, not that the kid said that. But what I meant is on the very first page there is a kid and he just says "father". Then the phoenix force lights up the place.

  • Ah, I suppose if I had paid attention to punctuation I would have gotten that. Sorry for that spoiler. The way I interpreted it was that this was a world caught in the path of the  Phoenix force or perhaps it is the last world that the Phoenix force intentionally destroyed. It has not played a role in the following issues though.

I can never side with Cyclopes. He is a bit too self righteous for me. I am sure they will do something to make me question my loyalty to the Avengers, but until that happens, I gotta side with Cap. If you don't side with Cap, you probably hate America.

  • Oh.

I do not know why, I just feel like I am loyal to the X-men, I dont like cyclops either, maybe it is because of Deadpool. Honestly, I am not with Avengers or X-men

  • the schism miniseries kind of led up to this, Wolverine and Cyclops became at odds when cyclops eliminated a threat using a powerful mutant child, Wolverine became disgusted when Cyclops decided to use the rest of the mutant children of utopia as soldiers and the two fought, eventually ending with wolverine leaving utopia and bringing several mutants with him to found the Jean Grey school and help young mutants, so basically wolverine became charles xavier and Cyclops became magneto in terms of ideologies, which is somewhat ironic for wolverine, anyways that puts me against cyclops' x-men as he has no clue what the phoenix force wants and his actions could very well spell the end of all life on earth, plus the whole child soldiers thing, cyclops is such a jerk

  • deadpool isn't an xman

  • I did not know any of that ( I am not good at keeping up ). Who did he bring with him?

As for Deadpool, I know he isn`t, but he wants to be and he loves them and he considers himself one on occasion
