Maybe you can't read Japanese, but you don't have to in order to appreciate anime or to hang out here. Talk with others about your favorite manga, movies, and artists.

  • Right now I 'm watching the Hetalia series and I LOVE IT! I can't take my History class seriously anymore though.

I have been reading the Vampire Knight manga and that's soon coming to a close (so excited yet very sad).

As for Soul Eater, I like the show I've just really started watching it. Unfortunately, I was watching it on Toonami and I kinda missed a weekend of it and that threw me off...But I will eventually start watching it again.

  • Never got into hetailia.

stick with SE its a good watch but the manga is far superior and the story ventures off in the anime like the first series of of fullmetal.

    I'm a Legendary GI member.

  • Let's see i just finished Cowboy Bebop (cept the movie gotta find it) In the middle of the second Lupin the 3rd (I think its the red jacket season can't remember) i started watching something called Rin Daugthers of Mnemosyne it's held me like Highshool of the Dead but it's really not for kids or the faint of heart sad part is there are only 6 episodes (its really just come for the fan service but stay for the confusing/goofy/amazing story)

on a different not hey All powerful All knowing Meta77 how good is queens blade someone told me it was awful but considering my anime Likes/Dislikes it looks pretty good

  • Also i'm waiting for a copy of Neon Genesis Vol.1 (Went with the 3-in1) and Highschool of the Dead omnibus to come in

  • I recently watched Cardcaptor Sakura movie 2. I thought it was pretty good.

  • Hmm where to start. Welp I am finishing up the Battle Royale mangas and just recently got all 7 of the Highschool of the Dead so I'll be starting those.

On the anime side I'm going back and watching Yu Yu Hakasho again. After finishing the first route on the fate/stay night visual novel I'm watching the anime for the first time and I'm pretty excited :).

I'm also watching a interesting series called Vampire Knight. A little odd but it's pretty cool. I finished Neon Genesis Evagelion and The End of Evangelion like a month ago and I really miss it haha

  • I just started watching Black Butler! I like it so far.

  • I've recently watched Blood C and Claymore.  Blood C was pretty awful, but Claymore was a superb anime!

  • I've been reading Bleach, Ral & Grad, Black Cat, and other Shonen Jump manga series. I'm watching.... History's strongest Disiciple! Go Kenichi!

  • I just finished Soul Eater, what a great show, highly recommend it. Now I'm going to watch Eureka 7 or Code Geass or Cowboy Bebop again.

  • Hmmm.... I'll try out Soul Eater. How are Code Geass or Cowboy Bebop? Can you tell me the concept of those?

  • You have never seen Cowboy Bebop?!?!? If you ask around I would say that most people would say that Cowboy Bebop is one of the greatest animes of all time.

This is from the Cowboy Bebop Wikia because they explain it better than I can, and every word is true and then some.

Cowboy Bebop received universal critical acclaim and is often considered to be a masterpiece. The series became a commercial success both in Japanese and international markets, most notably in the United States. The series has become a cult classic and garnered major science fiction awards and international praise for its characters, story, voice acting, animation and soundtrack.

The series revolves around the adventures undertaken by the crew of bounty hunters on the spaceship Bebop. The crew is made up of five main characters: Spike Spiegel, an exiled hitman of the ruthless Red Dragon Syndicate; Jet Black, a former ISSP officer who retired following a mob hit that cost him his arm; Faye Valentine, an amnesiac con artist who awakened in the future after a lengthy period of cryogenic hibernation; "Radical" Edward, a barefooted *** girl who is a prolific computer hacker; and Ein, a hyper-intelligent, genetically-engineered Welsh Corgi dog.

Throughout the series, Bebop crew members deal with unresolved issues from their pasts, and the show regularly utilizes flashbacks to illustrate the history of the main characters. The day-to-day life of the crew is also explored throughout the series.

It is epic in every since of the word. Since it sounds like you have never seen it put it at the top of your lise and watch it, and watch it dubs if you can.

Code Geass is one of my personal favorites, once I saw the first episode I was hooked. This is from the Code Geass wikia.

The series is set in an alternative timeline where the world is split into three superpowers, Britannia, the Chinese Federation, and the European Union. The story takes place after the Holy Britannian Empire's conquest on Japan in August 10, 2010 a.t.b., by means of Britannia's newest weapon, the "Autonomous Armored Knight", or Knightmare Frame. In turn, Britannia effectively strips Japan and its citizens of all rights and freedoms and renames the country Area 11 with its citizens referred to as Elevens.

Lelouch Lamperouge, the series' protagonist, is an intelligent exiled Britannian prince who was sent as a bargaining tool to Japan, along with his sister Nunnally Lamperouge, by his father, Emperor Charles zi Britannia, after his mother, Marianne vi Britannia, was murdered. When Marianne was murdered, Nunnally lost her sight and her ability to walk. After the war in the ruins of a Japanese city he then vows to his Japanese friend Suzaku Kururugi that he will one day obliterate Britannia. Seven years later, Lelouch gets caught up in a terrorist attack and finds a girl called C.C. (C2), who saves Lelouch's life from the Britannian Royal Guard, by making a contract with him that grants Lelouch a power known as Geass. This power also known as the Power of the King, allows him to command anyone to do what he wants for one time, whether bending their will to live, fight, or die – though only with direct eye contact. After killing the Royal Guard with his new power, Lelouch decides to put his Geass to use and find the person who killed his mother while trying to make a better world for his sister, Nunnally. Lelouch in the process becomes the leader of the resistance movement known as The Black Knights under the alter-ego Zero, gaining popularity and support among the Japanese on his way towards rebellion.

  • OMG!! Thanks so much for that ^.^

  • So it's been a few days since I finished Soul Eater, and now that I have had a few days to think about it I have found a few problems with the way it ended.

First off, and this is going to be points for Soul Eater and at the same time against it. In the last episode they did something with Maka that I did not see coming at all, it was one of those things that make you set up and go Holy Crap that was really unexpected and I love it. Those are points to the show. Now for what takes the points away. The bad thing about what they did is that I really wanted to see more of what they did but being the last episode they didn't have time to make it a really cool part of the show that it could have been, they kinda wasted a cool opportunity. Anyone who has watched the last episode probably knows what I'm talking about, and anyone who watches it will know what I'm talking about.

Second bad thing is that after the big last fight of the show just ends way to fast, it is like finish the final boss talk for 2 min and then end. They do show a few epilogue scenes in the credits but they really needed a whole episode to show everything right.

Anyway these are just something's that I thought about, it is still a really good show highly recommend it, I kind of want to watch it allover again right now.

  • I recently started Black Butler, and I'll be watching Fairy Tale next.
