Rebellion released a pair of zombie-themed spinoffs for its Sniper Elite series over the past few years, and now it's getting a special release all its own. The Zombie Army Trilogy bundles remastered versions of the first two games, as well as the third installment.

Unlike the series that spawned it, players don't have to rely on stealth to survive. Instead, they'll conquer the game's 15 missions with guns blazing. It includes eight playable characters, five all-new horde maps, and support for up to four-player co-op. It does borrow one critical element from Sniper Elite: the ultra gory killcam that rewards particularly well-placed shots.

While the first games were released on PC, they never made it to consoles. That changes with the release of Zombie Army Trilogy. The compilation will be coming this spring on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as PC. Players who bought the previous games on Steam will be able to download this release at a discounted price.
