The lights are on
Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z's hero has a useful talent: He can take weapons (and even body parts) from his fallen opponents, and use them as he battles armies of zombies. After looking at one towering enemy, it's clear that Yaiba's ingenuity will be quite handy.
The trailer below shows a battle between Yaiba and a quadruped robot. After dodging its flame attacks and stomps, the cyberninja leaves the battle with the Pocket Rocket rocket launchers. He'll need them during a battle against waves of titanic toddlers. The two-headed zombie monsters look tough, but Yaiba is able to defeat them – grabbing a bat-like shoulder blade weapon in the process.
Look for the game on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on March 18. For more information on Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, including the story behind creating Yaiba, check out this developer roundtable video.
