The lights are on
I found WWE All-Stars to be fun. The game can be a bit tedious at times and the difficulty really ratchets up during certain portions of the game and especially during some of the matches in Path of Champions. However, I thought that Fantasy Warfare was great and I had a blast just tinkering around with the game's controls. This is the true NBA Jam of wrestling games. It gets everything right that WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game did not (that game didn't get much right to start with). I was somewhat shocked that the game did not have more modes but it didn't detract from my enjoyment all that much. I really hope that THQ tries this formula again. They got it right the first go-around, and with a little more "oomph" applied to a second game this could turn into a great and lasting series.
