World of Final Fantasy
World of Final Fantasy blends the big-head chibi look of the original installments with the expressive Kingdom Hearts art style. All of this takes place in the pop-up book world of Grymoire.
A trailer introduces us to the world and our two protagonists. Throughout their adventure in classic Final Fantasy settings, they’ll encounter classic summons, meet past series protagonists, and capture the franchise’s iconic monsters.
Additionally, Square Enix has announced the three different special versions of the game. The collector’s edition is exclusive to the Square Enix store and includes pop-up book packaging, an 80-page hardback art book, the soundtrack, three mini-figurines of Cloud, Squall, and Lightning, digital content (White Chocobo, Glow Moogle, Red Bonnetberry, Sephiroth Summon, Japanese voice-over option).
A limited edition will be available at some retailers. This follows Atlus’ special first-run approach. The limited version will be priced at the standard $59.99, but will include a 24-page art book and the aforementioned digital content.
Finally, all retailers will have available a day one edition that includes the digital content previously mentioned with the game. You can see more in our previous coverage.
World of Final Fantasy will be out on October 25 for PlayStation 4 and Vita.
