The lights are on
Yes. You read that correctly. Bethesda has announced that Wolfenstein: The New Order has a release date and that those who pre-order will also get something unexpected: access to the Doom beta.
Before you ask, we have no information on when the beta for the next Doom title will launch, but you can stay tuned here as information is released. The advertisement for beta access does appear on the boxes for last-gen and new-gen systems, though that isn't a guarantee that Id's new game is coming to older systems.
What we do know is that Wolfenstein: The New Order will be released on May 20. You’ll have your pick of five platforms: Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
This Wolfenstein takes BJ Blazkowicz from World War II into a 1960 ruled by the Nazis. For more on Wolfenstein: The New Order, check out our early look from E3 2013.
