Actually huge isn’t probably the best word to describe how much content is in this game, not only does it feature the very long single player story mode filled with hundreds of quests and online play, the game also includes the entire first White Knight Chronicles game allowing for over 100 hours of game play. The problem however I don’t know anyone who would spend that much time playing this game.

The game starts off with you creating your own character or importing your character from the last game. You are given a large amount of tools in creating your character allowing you to create him or her anyway you want. However once the game starts your character just follows the other characters silently around and is barely mentioned. Another problem with that is your created character ends up being the best character in the entire game!

The story also isn’t very interesting with some things from the last game being totally forgotten as the story moves along with absurd twists and turns. The main character is also a total wuss with a ponytail whom runs around in his underwear...ok maybe I made him take off his pants but he deserves it for being such a loser. The soundtrack of the game is ok for what it is and I actually thought the voice acting was good at some parts.

Moving on the combat is easy to pickup and learn, however some boss battles are very frustrating especially when sometimes you automatically lose if a certain member of your party dies. In the end White Knight Chronicles 2 is a lot like the first but offers loads of new content for fans of the original, however if you don’t have lots of patience then the game is probably not for you.

Blog Post: I get it!

I get what this reviewer is saying! This game is not bad, but it is getting this low score for lack of making it different fro mthe first! With all the new content in the new game, you would think there would be new enemies and locations! But, that is simply not the case. But, he says that if you liked the first, then you will like this even more, but be prepared for over 50 hours of the same! I like more of the same when the same has always been good from the beginning, but i also want something new to look forward to and this simply doesn't do it!

Blog Post: Ummm

that review makes no sense if the game is supposedly exactly like the fits one (which it isnt) but lets say it is.. then that means the review score should at the very least be the same as the first one not awhole 3 points less JUST because its not different, and the review claims the game is the same and only lists that you travel through the same areas as the first which IS true but not once do you bother to mention the many changes and improvements over the first game, such as shaper graphics, MUCH faster combat/gameplay speed, the fact that your character finally gets its ow Knight which is customizable, you can even use Knights online... WKC2 improved on WKC1 in EVERY way the only difference is the story consists of going through the same areas you did on the first game... Id say based on everything I said the game is worthy of maybe a 6 or 7 outta 10 but definitely not 3

Blog Post: 3.5/10? And This Is Reviewed Around When Dark Souls and Rage Release?

The first game features a very simple storyline. The georama is a fun feature. If you're used to games similar to FF12 in terms of gameplay, this game comes quite close to it with the battle system. The second game doesn't do the best job of revolutionizing the story or expanding out with many newer features, but it does try to continue the storyline for the better. And the fact that both games come packaged onto a single disk does redeem the series somewhat, so you get two RPGs in one for a very expansive and lengthy experience.

Nothing against Phil, but when the original game got a 7.25/10, I expected a game that is virtually the same kind of build save for some newer elements to get a similar score. The only reason this game gets an 8/10 from me is because it features both games on one disk. And anyone who has or has not played the first game can still try the full experience out.

Blog Post: Im going to give this an irrational rating just the Phil!!!!

hey guys I do not like this game so I gave it a sub par rating even lower than Edge, which destroys every game it reviews unless its AAA. Color me surprised.

Bows are support weapons, offering status effects and healing skills in addition to long-range capabilities.

Long swords encompass two-handed versions of the classic melee weapon, and come with aura abilities that will presumably buff yourself and your allies.

Spears are for tanks. Come strapped with a shield and heavy armor, and the HP-boosting skills of a spear user will make you a tough nut to crack indeed.

Staves are – wait for it – for magic-using characters, boosting MP and magic and granting area-effect beneficial magic.

Swords are versatile, offering a blend of offense and defense. Magic- and agility-boosting knives fall into this category as well.

The weapons in the media gallery below have level requirements ranging from 55 to 80, so don't expect to get hooked up with this kind of an arsenal right away – especially with WKC's adoption of MMO-like gameplay, which makes you work for your loots.

D3Publisher is bringing White Knight Chronicles II to U.S. gamers on September 13, exclusively on PS3.

File: White Knight Chronicles II Weapons

A few high-level weapons from the PS3 role-playing game.

File: White Knight Chronicles II Weapons

A few high-level weapons from the PS3 role-playing game.

File: White Knight Chronicles II Weapons

A few high-level weapons from the PS3 role-playing game.

File: White Knight Chronicles II Weapons

A few high-level weapons from the PS3 role-playing game.

File: White Knight Chronicles II Weapons

A few high-level weapons from the PS3 role-playing game.

File: White Knight Chronicles II Weapons

A few high-level weapons from the PS3 role-playing game.

Wiki Page: White Knight Chronicles II Guides

Group: White Knight Chronicles II

Forum: White Knight Chronicles II Discussions
