One of the elements of Ubisoft's Watch Dogs that hasn't yet been fully detailed is how the companion app will function as a multiplayer tool. We've got a new glimpse of that straight from E3, in a new video courtesy of the Ubi Blog.

In this scene, anti-hero Aiden Pearce must navigate his way to rescue his ally, T-Bone. Once on scene, Aiden puts his hacking skills to use distracting guards and creating cover for T-Bone. One thing we noted that didn't make much sense is that a helicopter spotlight was able to identify Aiden from the air. Assuming that the player were smart enough to change cars stealthily, we're not sure how the pilot or crew would be able to spot him driving.

Once his friend is safe, Aiden's own getaway is aided by a mysterious stranger using the title's companion app. You can see for yourself exactly how that works in the video below.

Watch Dogs will be out on November 19th for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 4. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are planned, and some retailers are offering a PlayStation 4 Watch Dogs launch bundle.
