Five New Screens Released For Thomas Was Alone Creator's Upcoming Volume

Mike Bithell, the creator of the indie gem Thomas Was Alone, released five new screens for his upcoming stealth game, Volume.

The story behind Volume is still mostly unknown, but Bithell did reveal it has its roots in Robin Hood mythology. Bithell has also revealed that actor Charlie McDonnell provides the voice of protagonist Robert Locksley, and Danny Wallace (the narrator from Thomas Was Alone) will voice his AI assistant.

For more on Volume, check out its original announcement trailer. For our review of Thomas Was Alone, head here. To see the latest screens for Volume, check out the gallery below. Bithell says the camera angles are false, but otherwise, everything from the screens are in-game.

  • Cool! I like the graphics!

  • "If you love having seizures, you'll love this game!"
  • Reminds me of Tron.

  • I look forward to this. After Thomas Was Alone, I'm trusting we'll see interesting, even if only "okay" execution (although I highly doubt it), ideas at play here with great art direction.
  • I like what I see so far, but a trailer on actual gameplay would be welcomed.

  • This looks like a good Tron game--and I would play a bad Tron game.

  • Pretty cool, reminds me of Tron sorta.
