Vandal hearts won't exactly last you as long as dragon age, mass effect or any of those types of games obviously.  But it's a very good game to just sit down, relax and enjoy.  There isn't really much strategy to it, but a lot of the missions will keep you on your toes. 

There's more to just missions though, there is also the hidden maps which there is a good amount of and those are a bit hard to find and complete once you get to the map.  Also the game has a decent story behind it so you'll want to finish it.

All in all, it's a great game to play if you're just bored and have nothing to do.
