The lights are on
Valiant Hearts is Ubisoft's action/puzzle game set during World War I, and the latest dev diary puts the spotlight on the setting, characters, and a dog.
In the video below, the team members discuss the comic book-inspired visuals (which run on the Ubi Art framework, like Rayman Legends and Child of Light). They also talk about trying to make an emotional impact on the player, and how the different playable characters' stories tie together.
In addition, Ubisoft also released a couple of new screens, which you can see in the gallery below.
Valiant Hearts: The Great War releases on June 25 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

This game. Something is really drawing me in.
Hope you're wrong about the dog (although I tend to think you are correct).
Not too much from WW1 in gaming. Glad to see someone taking advantage of it.
i have been abnormally excited for this game since i read about it many months ago. i'm downloading it day one for sure.
When I first seen this I was amazed at the concept surrounding the game and to see how it was executed was brilliant. This is why the indie studios are amazing because they bring gamers things that wouldn't be done from AAA developers in there games.
I'm curious- is there any dialogue in the game? It looks like everything that was in the video was portrayed through pictures in speech bubbles.
I'm really looking forward to playing this even though I'm pretty sure that it's going to make me cry. :(
