I purchased Uncharted: Drakes Fortune the day it came out, played it and played it and played it. Uncharted 2 came out on my birthday, I had a pretty good birthday that year. I have played the *** out of that game, when im bored and feel like I dont have a game to play I toss that one in because its always been there to give me a thrill, no matter how many times ive finished it its still satisfying. So, of course I was gonna run to the local EBGames for the third installment. After sinking over $100 to get the super edition, I was a little dissapointed. The series had been so good for me that there was no way that I was gonna get my moneys worth.

Uncharted 2 was such an unbelievable game that there was no way that Uncharted 3 would be as good, and I knew that coming in. The unfortunate part is that its almost the exact same story with the same big epic moments in the plot. In Uncharted 2, the sequence on the train was so cool with the crash. Uncharted 3 comes back with a sequence on a ship where the ship sinks, and a plane that crashes for 2X THE FUN!

Nawt. It becomes too much, and the little things are a little sloppy. The climbing is nothing compared to games like Assassins Creed.

I did give this a last minute 8 because I remembered how amazing the sand looked after the plane crash.
