Greg Jackson is a mixed martial arts trainer, and in the latest Undisputed 3 trailer, he explains The Decision Tree.

He offers a walkthrough of how fighters use the tree in combat, and how, in theory, it leads to far fewer punches directly to the face.

UFC Undisputed 3 is coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 14.

    This sounds great! It would be really cool if this was implemented in the training leading up to a fight.  Let's say Greg Jackson IS my coach, then he could tell me that in the first he round he wants me to do a lot of leg kicks, that way in the second and possibly third round I'll be able to go after my opponent who is known for having a weak chin (easy to knock out).  If what I just described isn't there though, I still think this interesting idea for A.I. in fights is really smart, and much closer to reality.  I know in previous installments I have found myself just throwing over hand rights until the opponent stops blocking to attack me.  Usually that then leads to a knock out for my guy.  Glad too see where they are taking the franchise.

    No grappling decision tree on display? That's what makes mixed martial artists superior to all other fighters, their versatility, I would have expected them to show some grappling.

    Greg Jackson, huh? Where's the decision tree option for "turn your back and run from Nick Diaz"? Condit utilized the hell outta that one.

    I'm a little confused. Is this an option for how to play the game, like V.A.T.S, or its own mode or something? Or is this just a special effect to demonstrate what Greg was talking about and not really a part of the game? There's a demo on xbox live. I guess I'll see if that has any answers.

    I hated this game for its complex button mashing. My 10year old cousin who doesn't even play games but manages to mop the floor on me; Im sorry but this game sux, i love the sport but hate this game; as much as fanboys hate Call of Duty- its official im sticking to my decision
