Laserbeak Takes Flight In The Transformers: Dark of the Moon Trailer

Michael Bay is bound to leave critics dumbfounded and appalled this summer with his newest Transformers film. Personally, we just want to see a bunch of giant robots smash into each other. High Moon Studios, the team behind last year’s success Transformers: War for Cybertron, is working to bring a little bit of class to the movie property with its video game prequel.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon the game arms players with stealth force, a new transformation mode that is half vehicle, half armored tank. This hybrid state allows each transformer to cruise around James Bond style, letting players fire while speeding through the battlefield. Dark of the Moon will take players from the Jungles of South America, to Siberian military facilities, and through the disaster that is called Detroit. Check out the game’s early screens and trailer below.

  • so, this has nothing to do with Pink Floyd? are you sure? alright.

  • This looks really good. Compared to the first two movie games. I really liked war for cybertron. This game looks a little more polished though. I'll probably wait for reviews.

  • You can definitely tell that they wised up and used the gameplay formula from WFC. I'll still probably pass on this but I have to admit, it looks a lot better than I anticipated based on the last 2 movie tie in disaster pieces.

  • Compared to the first two games, this looks like a step in the right direction.

  • Meh...

  • Class to a Michael Bay flick?

That's going to take divine intervention.

  • Ok?!?!?!   We could go about this in 2 ways... 1) This game doesn't seem that great and GameInfomer can give it the usual grade score between 4 and 6.50. Just like any movie-game. Or 2) We can scarp the first and compare it to other movie-games and give it a score between 6 and 8.50. Which ever way you look at it. I look at it in the first suggestion.

  • Transformers is lame. The only good thing ever about it was Megan Fox!!!!!!!

  • laserbeak looks like a lost chicken who got its feathers ripped off...

  • I still can't get over how stupid the title of the movie and game are. It's like there was a typo when the name of movie was submitted, and the producers were too lazy to correct it.
  • For a game based on a movie, this looks surprisingly well done.  Ill keep an eye on this.

  • visuals are a bit unbalanced for me. but besides that it looks decent.

  • I will give it a chance compared to the past 2 movie games did not impress me.

  • From the looks of it, it looks like it will play like War for cybertron.  If that is the case, I will definitely be getting this game.  I absolutely love transformers

  • High Moon did awesome with War for Cybertron, so hopefully they can do awesome with this one.
  • The second game, Revenge of the Fallen had graphics that looked better than this. The multiplayer for said game was AWESOME, and so was the mechanics, controls, sound, the works. High Moon failed at WFC. The gameplay was chaotic at best.
  • A huge robot shouldn't pretend that flapping his wings is going to make him fly, the physics are dumbtarded
