The lights are on
Touch My Katamari, Namco's upcoming PS Vita entry in the ball-rolling series, has more than an unfortunately translated name. It also has some disturbing dance moves from the King of All Cosmos.
The game's intro cinematic, shown below starts off relatively normal, at least by Katamari standards. Clip-art animals pop up, accompanied by peppy music with nonsensical lyrics. Then the King appears, clad in a yellow leotard. That's when things take a turn. See for yourself. You have been warned.

well that was on par for Katamari but what the hell did I watch, no age gate for that king? would it be wrong in assuming that the creator of the series made a cameo? The weird cartoon japanses guy with the glasses and stubble wearing the japanese garb (weird robe, blue to be exact).
I hope someone mistakenly gets arrested for saying the title of this game.
If I roll up into a ball can I roll things up? I don't really get the title on this. And where's the part that would make me want to roll up into a ball?

Just when I thought Japanese games couldn't get any dumber they go and pull a stunt like this...and TOTALLY REDEEM THEMSELVES!
Good news is that the music of the Katamari franchise is still freaking awesome!

I really do believe that this wasn't animated. Instead, they just point a camera out of their window and film Japan, just being Japan, and this is the result.
A perfect example of why I love the Katamari series!! Oh, King of All Cosmos ... you've outdone yourself and your Royal Rainbow :D
