The price for the board and game are to steep. Maybe as a gift for me I'd play and get into it. I'm sure as hell not gonna pitch $119.99. Thats just redonkulous.

this is truly amazing for many reasons gets you out of the seat and lets you actually feel like ur skating sorry SKATE2 you dont have this so this would hafto be every skaters dream to actually feel like ur skating and not sitting down and playing on a rainy day

The game looks better than I expected to be honest. I'm willing to try out the new peripheral and see if it changes or makes my game experience more enjoyable.

I started with Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 and ended with Underground because Underground just wasn't really skateboarding; it never captured that essence, and filled it with numerous (sometimes offensive) stereotypes.

This sounds interesting, but I need to wait to see or hear about the missions first. If I have to save Ollie The Bum from pink elephants again, then this is a no-go.

If there was one game that got me hooked on skating, it was definitely Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. Anyone else remember that game? So many playable characters, even Spiderman, bunch of levels, good music, and the best part was the map-editing mode. Why can't Tony Hawk just stay on the track that they've been so successful with? They've stemmed too far from their original gaming ideals, and I really can guess that I won't enjoy this game like I did the others. I always preferred the button combos as well, and I really don't care for Skate, so if they would a Tony Hawk Underground 3, I'd be all over that as long as it focused on the same old control scheme.

I am one of those that has fallen off the Tony Hawk franchise and picked it up Skate. The new device does not as promising as all the hype was about. As a skater, if the device seems more awkward, than what is the purpose? I will stay with Skate, and than watch as Tony Hawk, slowly fades into the dust....

I think the board will work well for the most part, but i'm sure that most of the fans will not like the departure from the combo heavy TH games of the past. I'm estimating around an 8ish score.

I don't think I'd be buying it as soon as it comes out. I'll just wait until the price drops on it. It looks like it could be some good fun, actually.
