20-Minute Video Presentation Details Titanfall's Gameplay

You won't find any new Titanfall gameplay footage in this presentation from the EB Games Expo in Australia, but you will hear the developers talk about building the game.

It's also a good way to catch up with all the revealed details of Titanfall in case you have fallen behind, or haven't been paying full attention.

Titanfall is coming to PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 next year. For more on Titanfall, check out all of our coverage from when we featured the game on our cover this summer by clicking the banner below.

  • Edit: I just watched it, it looks pretty awesome, there's no denying that, but I don't like it when he talks about the scale and agility of the Titans like they are reinventing the wheel. I would be surprised if no one on the development team was a Custom Robo fan.
  • Gosh, this game looks so fun!
  • I'll get my Xbox one whenever this hits store shelves and I hope their inevitable collectors edition comes with a titan statue.
  • I am so looking forward to this next year, my most anticipated game of next year, im not going to have a life for that whole first week it comes out, and I think this will easily dethrone cod for most popular fps.
  • Wow its been a long time since I heard the name EB games.
  • Gaaahhh. Dang horrible internet preventing me from playing this awesome online-only game!

  • WWAAAHOOOOOOOOO!!! I'm so excited for this game!

  • A game developer (the lady in the video) for one of the most anticipated games ever created has a pirate bay tattoo on her arm? How peculiar.
  • all i see is trailers etc..where is the real time gameplay?

  • I don't know, the more I see on this game, the less excited I get for it. Maybe I'm just growing out of games like this, or maybe I'm just jaded. I'm looking forward to a Fallout 4 announcement and Mass Effect 4.

  • Looks good. I know people who have played it and they said they thought it was the best thing since sliced bread.......I think maybe they got their drinks spiked a bit, but yes it does look like a better version of COD. Time will tell. I'm more excited about BF4 honestly for my FPS fix.
  • This might be the game that kills Call of Duty.
  • I still don't understand why GI never did their homework and took a long look back at Shogo: Mobile Armor Division. That's the first FPS I remember playing where you could be a dude on foot and in a giant robot. With the same controls. And fluid robot motion. And giant guns. Maybe there was another one. I've never been a real avid PC gamer.

Sure Titanfall manages to bring to the table the stunning development of jumping in and out of the robots, but again - amazing gameplay we had back on the Super Nintendo with Lucasarts' Metal Warriors.

Other than having to play the game with a bunch of random jackasses on XBL (which gets super old super fast), I'm not seeing the real breakthrough here.

It's just more of the same slow, plodding evolution of the FPS since DOOM made the 'leap' from Wolfenstein.
  • game looks great, boring presentation though
  • The game looks beautiful!!!  Not to mention the freedom of movement is amazing!!!  I'm so used to ducking behind cover and sniping from rooftops, to avoid wide open streets or stairwell shoot-outs.  The idea of giving every player this kind of movement freedom in "BattleField" makes me smile.  I'm really looking forward to seeing the open building design of the "Bad Company" Series make a return with every floor, door, window, wall and rooftop becoming a usable and explore-able part of the level!!!  ^_^
