EA Sports and developer EA Tiburon have unveiled some of the new features for Tiger Wood's PGA Tour 14 – including historic challenges, all four majors, the LPGA, and more.

This year's Tiger game is chasing history. Specifically, it features a new mode called Legends of the Majors which lets you face off against golfing immortality like Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, Ben Hogan, Lee Travino, and Gary Player as you take on each of them and try and re-write the history books.

Other features include:

20 courses and all four majors
35+ golfers from the past and present
The LPGA, including the chance to win the Kraft Nabisco Championship
Night golfing and variable weather conditions including a live weather feed
More swing customization

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 goes on sale for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 26, and will feature Kinect and Move support, respectively.

Interesting additions. I haven't played a gold game since Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2012. If I have any room or time to actually play a gold game (my backlog is huge as it is), I may look into this more.

this looks pretty good. I haven't played a golf game since TG '07 so I'm starting to get the itch again.

BTW, this really should be Outlaws Golf 2014 if you ask me!

The only thing I didn't like about last year's Tiger game was the weather system. The supposed "live weather feed" from last year just lied to our faces, it was never correct. Fun game for golf fans though otherwise.

Also, that morning/day/night screenshot is awesome!

I'm not particularly a fan of golf in general, but for some reason I love golf video games, well I love the Tiger Woods games. The only other golf game I have played is Hot Shots golf way back when. I always feel really relaxed when I play TW.

Are you telling me that Nintendo and EA couldn't even come together on Tiger Woods golf for the Wii-U? Every single one was on the Wii. You know EA hates Nintendo when they won't even port over this project. I am willing to accept that Dead Space 3, Crysis 3, and Army of Two have very low sales potential on the Wii-U to make a port worthwhile but Tiger Woods Golf? I wonder what Nintendo did to piss them off so much.

Hot Shots on the PS2 was the last golf game that I played. This generation's golf just never caught my attention among the huge amount of titles that I have yet to play.
