The lights are on
In a move that undoubtedly surprised zero fans of The Sims series, EA has announced another expansion for The Sims 3. If you think that sounds familiar, you're right; much like the Late Night and Pets expansions, Seasons was also the theme of a Sims 2 expansion pack.
The Sims 3: Seasons is a PC/Mac-exclusive expansion that adds seasons (obviously), new weather effects, and holiday festivities for your sims. Of course, players also get a bunch of new items, food, and miscellaneous trappings for their worlds. Swimming in the ocean and snowboarding are two of the seasonal activities EA has revealed for the expansion.
If you pre-order Seasons, you are automatically upgraded to the game's limited edition and receive access to the Ice Lounge community lot (pictured in a few of the screens below).
The Sims 3: Seasons releases in November.

Heck yeah!
I could find my disc so I could play the game :( but this does look awsome might half to get it when I buy a new sims 3
gonna get flammeeddd, lawl, but...
They should have included the stuff from Sims 2 DLC in the core game. They're just republishing the same things over and over.
It'd be nice if instead of dishing out another expansion only two months after September's Supernatural expansion, maybe they should work on some of the bugs. The Secret World is riddled with problems too...I don't know about EA...
They'll milk this series for all it's even worth, and then some. >_<
Seasons and new weather is long over due
About frackin time! Now all we need is University and then they can release Sims 4 for all we care, then we can do this song and dance all over again.
Moar exspansions! not surprising(:
Let me say this to make things clear: Finally!
Supernatural comes out in September and Seasons comes out in November? Alright EA and Maxis stepping up their game. I like it.
EA's business models are vommit-inducing. The same old pattern of releasing the same old content for the same old game. Oh, but now there's a 3 at the end of the title though. Whoop-de-doo.
I'm not gonna down the Sims, it's obvious millions of people love this game but I'm glad I'm not of of them. I can barely afford to keep up with my games as it is without retail expansions every few months.
Hmmm. . . I assume that the kid with the hockey mask IS supposed to be benevolent. . .
sweet
Hasn't Sims 3 been out for awhile?
