The lights are on
Ubisoft Montréal is getting into the free-to-play business with the upcoming The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot. The first gameplay trailer, narrated by a humble fellow named Sir Painhammer, introduces the world of Opulencia and the title's core gameplay.
Players will build their castles, purchase defensive traps and creatures, and invade friends on their path to decking out their avatar with the best gear. If you've played iOS darling Clash of Clans, the build and battle mechanics will seem familiar, as will the methods for interacting with opponents.
The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is headed into closed alpha testing. If you like what you see in the trailer, head over to the official website to register.

Sounds like a lot of fun actually! I will not spend a dime on these kind of games but I will play it.
Color me interested! Headed to the site now...
Sounds interesting, might have to check it out.
I'm usually bored of Action-RPG games... but this one looks fantastic. I love the concept, I love the execution shown thus far, and I love the sense of humor.
Sounds like this could be a blast. Pretty neat.
Ever since Evil Genius I thought it'd be cool to build an evil lair and have friends try to kill you inside. This'll be the next best thing.
This looks like so much fun.
oh, so that's what the Golden ticket is for....
game looks awsome!
Looks interesting, like a reverse Diablo kinda thing. Might check it out.
This looks pretty interesting actually.
