The Lord of the Rings: War in the North
It seems a bit unfair that a group of three was expected to hold off a large portion of Sauron's armies the north, so it's great that Snowblind Studios is talking about reinforcements. A new developer diary talks about some of the forces that will be traveling with your group during the Lord of the Rings: War in the North, and they're definitely a crew that can hold their own.
In addition to meeting up with the wizard Radagast and Elrond's twin sons Elohir and Elladan, you'll have the chance to enlist a great eagle named Beleram. When you first encounter the creature, he's been chained by a group of goblins. Help him out, and you'll have a powerful friend with an affinity toward swooping in and taking out enemies.
