I will have to give this game a Second Try, but my first 5 hours of play left behind a bad taste. Starting out I bested the guards with the machine guns only to fine that their machine guns had just disappeared. Shooting me with them one second and gone the next. I don't like game mechanics that...
The Last of Us is a good game, but overrated
on October 19, 2014 at 12:15 AM
Naughty Dog has quickly become one of my favorite developers this generation. With their hit Game series Uncharted Naughty Dog has become the beacon of action games. The Last of Us is no exception, while its I don't think its the game that everybody makes it out to be. In area's where The Last...

Worth Every Bit of Praise, Most Important Game of our Time
on February 11, 2014 at 11:31 PM
I cannot do this game justice by any means. I actually wrote a previous review to this some time back but GI's lovely user review glitch deleted it. I will not try and go in depth about the humanity, sacrifice or loss in the game and how impactful they are. It has been said enough and the multiple...

Game of the Year 2013
on January 23, 2014 at 11:09 PM
Okay, I'm officially announcing to everyone that I am jumping onboard The Last of Us bandwagon. With Uncharted 3 being my third favorite game of all time, followed eventually by Uncharted 2, I had much faith in Naughty Dog. They were charged with the task of making the apocalypse interesting again...

The Last of Us: Among the Best of Us
on October 25, 2013 at 08:58 PM
Few games have made as much of an impact this year as The Last of Us and it rightfully earns its place in fans’ hearts in surprising and unparalleled ways. Brutal, foreboding, shocking, haunting: all of these words can describe the level of artistic effort that Naughty Dog has put into its tortured...
The Last of Us is an Amazing game, yet slightly overrated
on October 16, 2013 at 11:00 PM
Hear me out. This game was one of the most engaging experiences I've had from a story in a looooong time. The character and relationship development between Joel and Ellie was fascinating. Those few sweet moments in between the extremely violent combat scenarios, when you get to hear their mundane...
The last us review
on September 03, 2013 at 02:22 PM
Every once in a while there comes a game that shows me just what video games are capable of. The last of us is one of those games. I can't believe how well this game tells an interactive story. From the amazingly written plot and characters to the fantastic voice acting. The wonderfully done camera...
The Last of Us is An Amaizing Game
on August 27, 2013 at 03:41 PM
The Last of Us is an amazing game. The graphics and sound are top notch. The gameplay, is fast and fun, yet methodical and dangerous. The story is dark and violent, with a few good twists and turns. Graphics: The Last of Us may be the best looking PS3 game I have ever played. The lighting and textures...
Zombie Apocalypse - Glamour + Talent = The Last of Us

I really do love art. All types of it. Sure, I’m obviously more drawn to certain forms of it than others but I appreciate all art for what it does and what it means to the people both creating and observing it. No matter what particular medium it is coming from, when a certain form of art can strike...
The Last of Us Review: Substance Without Fun
on August 14, 2013 at 11:53 PM
While I was waiting for The Last of Us to install on my PS3's hard drive, I sat and contemplated how I would approach Naughty Dog's latest adventure. Aware that they were pushing narrative more than ever before, I decided to focus my attention on the gameplay, and just absorb the narrative as...

I really loved this game. The story was just amazing especially the beginning. I had no problems with this game. I really recommend this to play who like playing sad games and story games. I never got to try out multiplayer but it looks really fun.
Going out with a Bang.

The Last of Us (TLOU) is the greatest game I have ever played. Everything from the eye popping graphics, to the varied and fun combat, to the scavenging, and not to mention the story screams 10/10. First off lets start with the graphics. The graphics are amazing. Many times I would just stop in the middle...
An Extraordinary story of Survival
on July 24, 2013 at 12:09 AM
I'm only 16 and soon 17, but since the age of 3 i have played hundreds of games, but only a small handfull have been as amazing as this one. The graphics first off are very realistic and are smooth in textures and both environments and people are very well made. The lighting and framerate stays constant...
Simply A Flawed Masterpiece
on July 23, 2013 at 02:17 AM
The Last Of Us is one of those games that made me wonder where games could truly go. The characters of Joel and Ellie are one of the most realized characters I have seen, brought to life with phenomenal production values. However the concept sort of nullifies your first impressions. No matter how hard...
The Best Has Been Saved For Last
on July 20, 2013 at 08:00 AM
I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed, but Naughty Dog has taken a gradual, downward spiral in terms of how the tone of their games has been over time. Crash Bandicoot had all the pleasant, kid-friendly strangeness of Mario games with a preposterous setting built around fun platforming. Jak and...
on July 13, 2013 at 05:34 PM
The Last of Us is my game of the year (so far) it is something that everyone should experience to understand. I didn't think a game could come close in story telling then what i was presented in Bioshock Infinite, but a couple months later The Last of Us hits shelves and i am blown away. The games...
You can't give this anything lower than a perfect 10
on July 12, 2013 at 04:22 PM
This game was so impressive. The graphics are completely unrivaled in my book. At least in consoles. God of War Ascension comes close, but I think The Last of Us takes the cake as far as visuals go for this generation so far. Absolutely amazing story that I'll never forget. The narrative makes you...
